Chung v. City of West Covina, et al. (LASC case no. BC409296)

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit for racial discrimination, defamation, retaliation, infliction of emotional distress and other alleged violations of law against a city and a former council member.

RESULT: After a two-week trial, Attorney Flores obtained a jury verdict in favor of his client, a former city council member for the City of West Covina.

Martinez v. Avarez, et al. (LASC case no. BC393517)

Plaintiff owners of a transport company brought a lawsuit against their former business partner.

RESULT: After a two-week trial Attorney Flores obtained a judgment for plaintiffs in excess of $177.000.00.

Venegas v. Merin, et al. (2009)

Plaintiffs presented a settlement demand prior to filling a lawsuit for personal injuries arising from a catastrophic automobile accident.

RESULT: Attorney Flores and his former law partners obtained a settlement on behalf of the injured claimants in excess of $1,200,000.00.

Williams v. City of West Covina, et al. (LASC case no. BC409296)

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit for gender discrimination and defamation against a city and former council member

RESULT: Attorney Flores filed an anti-s.l.a.p.p. motion and obtained a dismissal of the law suit against the former council member. In addition, the court awarded attorney’s fees and costs to Mr. Flores’s client.

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit for racial discrimination and other alleged violations of law.

RESULT: Attorney Flores obtained summary adjudication of plaintiff’s racial discrimination claim against a council member and the court dismissed the claim.

Rivera v. Ku, et al. (LASC case no. VCC56518)

In the middle of law suit for breach of contract, plaintiff sought emergency relief from the court to stop harassment of his customers and business activities by the defendant.

RESULT: Attorney Flores obtained a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction barring defendant from interfering with plaintiffs business activities.

Sandoval v. Herrera (LASC case no. BC395346)

Plaintiff brought a lawsuit against defendant for breach of real estate scale contract, fraud and breach of fiduciary judgment.

RESULT: At trial, Attorney Flores obtained a judgment by non-suit against plaintiffs on behalf of the defendant client who prevailed at trial.
